For players who want grand-piano performance in an upright footprint, the Yamaha YUS Series sits at the top of Yamaha's vertical-piano range. TONAL RANGE AND PROJECTION
The YUS Series is engineered to match the depth and warmth of a premium grand. A tone-escapement system in the cabinet directs sound toward the player rather than trapping it inside the case, producing a fuller acoustic result and a wide dynamic range.
BUILD AND CONSTRUCTION
The YUS Series is assembled from thousands of premium parts by Yamaha's experienced artisans. Each instrument is delivered by Remenyi fully prepared, regulated, and ready to perform.
MATERIALS
The YUS Series draws its materials directly from Yamaha's concert grands. Soundboards are made from selected solid spruce, and the bass strings are hand-wound European wire for a deep, resonant low register. The hammers use the same concert-grade felt found in the CF Series, providing consistent tonal color across the register. Action parts and cabinetry are specified for long-term performance.
CRAFTMANSHIP
YUS uprights are voiced, regulated, and tuned by Yamaha's most experienced technicians, the same artisans who prepare concert instruments. Hammers are hand-voiced for balanced tone across all registers. This level of preparation produces a consistently high-performing instrument in every unit.
