The full-size Yamaha CG142C classical guitar gives lots of bold tone balanced from lows to highs, with a slight emphasis on the mid-range for added punch. The result is a classical guitar with plenty of projection to fill a small room with the soft, intimate sound of a nylon-string classical guitar.
The top features solid cedar, a wood that emits the sensitive tone frequently recommended for fingerstyle and light flatpicking. The nato neck, back, and sides provide the force behind this Yamaha guitar's tone, bringing out the deep sound of nylon strings. The nylon-string guitar's rosewood bridge and fretboard add crisp sustain and clarity to your chords.
