Ernie Ball Reinforced Plain Steel strings are made from the finest materials so you get quality and consistency in every set. The specially tempered high carbon steel core wire's hexagonal shape ensures the wrap wire is securely held in place through the length of the string. Precision crafted Swiss brass ball ends are attached with a triple lock twist. A patented winding of bronze wire is tightly wrapped around the lock twist of the ball end. String slippage and breakage are minimized at the ball end where these most often occur. RPS strings last longer and stay in tune better than conventional plain strings.
