Designed for use on classical guitars the plain strings are made of a solid nylon filament. It is similar to but not the same as the nylon used for fishing line. The treble strings are fashioned of a solid nylon clear filament while the bass strings are made of a multifilament nylon floss core wrapped with 80/20 bronze alloy wire. Producing a warm tone that is rich in treble with a percussive attack this set is ideal for fingerstyle and folk players. Their soft feel is easier on the fingers than steel strings and the ball ends make string changes a cinch.
