ACCURATE CONVERSION OF THE PIANIST’S TOUCH INTO A PRECISE HAMMER STRIKE ON THE STRING
The carefully designed mechanics and precise engineering create a direct connection between the pianist’s fingertips and the instrument, delivering unmatched control and sound quality.
With patented innovations, Fazioli ensures this exceptional experience stays consistent over time, while simplifying mechanical adjustments. Their dedication to craftsmanship and innovation guarantees a piano that truly resonates with musicians and their passion.

NON-ACOUSTIC CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS
Fazioli pianos are built with a focus on excellence and attention to every detail, enhancing both sound and quality. Honoring the classic grand piano, the design features updated proportions and smooth contours. Brass fittings are treated with a 24-karat gold bath to prevent oxidation, keeping surfaces bright for years.
Each component is carefully reviewed for improvements, from materials to manufacturing processes. Every step is aimed at enhancing performance and joy for players, driven by passion and expertise.

BALANCED STRING DESIGN
The design of the strings—carefully considering length, diameter, tension, material density, and flexibility—ensures a smooth, natural transition between neighboring notes. This thoughtful craftsmanship creates a seamless flow from the rich, resonant bass to the warm, expressive mid-tones, and up to the sparkling clarity of the highest notes.
Fazioli pianos stand out with their innovative ability to fine-tune both the front and rear duplex scales for each individual note. This meticulous adjustment adds a remarkable depth of tonal color, offering musicians an unparalleled range of expression and ensuring every note resonates with precision and beauty.

DUPLEX SCALE
At the heart of every Fazioli lies a legacy of precision engineering, and our unique Duplex Scale is a testament to that heritage. We saw an opportunity for greater acoustic perfection in the piano’s first two sectors. Our solution?
Fully adjustable bronze capo d’astro bars and rear string resonators. This allows for a perfect coupling and micrometer-level adjustments to the string’s speaking length.
This obsessive attention to detail ensures that every string vibrates in perfect harmony, enriching the fundamental note with a cascade of sympathetic tones. It’s this commitment to perfection that has made our pianos the choice of discerning musicians worldwide.

IRON FRAME
The soul of a piano’s voice needs an unyielding foundation. That foundation is the cast-iron frame, the silent guardian harnessing over 20 tons of string tension. We craft ours through traditional sand-casting, demanding exceptional precision in every dimension.
But our work doesn’t stop there. We believe true stability takes time. Each frame is left to rest for at least six months, a crucial seasoning period that allows any internal tensions to settle completely. This patient process ensures the tonal purity and structural integrity of your instrument for generations to come—a testament to our commitment to lasting quality.

UNRIVALLED STRENGTH AND STABILITY
The modern concert grand is a triumph of innovation, and the crossed-stringing design is its undisputed heart. Perfected over 100 years and trusted by generations of the world's finest pianists, this method is the foundation of superior sound.
This intelligent layout allows for a more compact and stable cast-iron frame, ensuring remarkable tuning integrity. More importantly, it empowers the soundboard to vibrate with unparalleled freedom, dramatically increasing the instrument's power and acoustic richness. We build upon this proven legacy, ensuring every piano we craft meets the demanding repertoire of
today's virtuoso.

PRECISE SOUNDBOARD DESIGN AND NEWLY PATENTED FAZIOLI SOUNDBOARD
Our legacy is a conversation between time-honored craftsmanship and
relentless innovation. This is perfectly embodied in our soundboard. We begin with the finest spruce from the Italian Alps, the same wood trusted by luthiers for centuries.
Our ceaseless testing of rib placement and curvature, now enhanced by advanced mathematical modeling, has unlocked new levels of acoustic efficiency. The culmination of this research is our patented three-layer soundboard—an optional marvel that offers unparalleled resistance to climatic changes without sacrificing a single ounce of our signature rich, complex tone. It is the future of piano stability, built on a foundation of tradition.

RIMS
A piano’s voice needs a body that sings with it. We form the rim from a single, continuous band of the finest Canadian maple and African mahogany. While others use thin veneers, we insist on substantial 6mm sheets of solid wood. This painstaking process minimizes glue lines and, when fused with a special thermo-hardening resin, creates a true wooden monolith.
This single, unified structure doesn’t just support the instrument’s tension—it resonates as one, contributing its own warmth and character to the sound. It’s a difference you don’t just hear; you feel it in the richness of every note.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE BOND BETWEEN SOUNDBOARD AND CASE
Our quest for the perfect sound drives us to innovate where it matters most. We identified the critical junction between the soundboard and the rim as the place where a piano’s power is either focused or lost. Through relentless research, we have perfected techniques that maximize the acoustic isolation between the instrument’s vibrating core and its passive structure.
This means more energy stays where it belongs, producing a sound of unparalleled power, responsiveness, and clarity. This dedication to acoustic efficiency is the science behind the soul of our instruments, and a difference you will notice from the very first chord.
