XL Nylon Tapewound bass strings are the warmest, smoothest bass strings we have to offer. Great for fretted or fretless instruments, these flat wound, silky smooth strings have a distinctively warm, percussive tone, with no finger noise. Made with a high carbon steel core and wrapped in flattened black nylon, our Tapewound strings are polished to an ultra-smooth finish, delivering unrivaled punch, depth, and focus. Made for long scale basses, this 50-105 Medium set has a higher tension, affording increased low-end response and output.
D'Addario Tapewound bass strings are wound with flattened black nylon and polished to an ultra-smooth finish. Tapewounds are expertly engineered to provide optimal tension, can be used on fretted or fretless basses, and are gauged to fit properly on standard bass saddles and nuts.

Shipping services
We do our best to get your order out the door same day when it is in stock. If an item is out of stock, you will see it indicated on the product page before you add it to your cart, or you will be contacted. Most often, we ship with Canada Post but sometimes other carriers like FedEx or UPS are used. If your method of shipping is eligible for a tracking number, this will be emailed to you.
Return policy
