Counterpoint is the technique of composing two or more melodic lines that are sounded at the same time. Whether a guitar riff against a vocal melody, a bass line against a keyboard melody, or a violin and cello duet, in good counterpoint, these musical lines work together while also maintaining a unique identity. This book combines the foundational principles of traditional classical counterpoint with modern-day examples, demonstrating how counterpoint can play an important role in today's popular music. Audio is accessed online using the unique code inside the book and can be streamed or downloaded. The audio files include PLAYBACK+, a multi-functional audio player that allows you to slow down audio without changing pitch, set loop points, change keys, and pan left or right.

If an item is out of stock, you will see it indicated on the product page before you add it to your cart, or you will be contacted. Most often, we ship with Canada Post but sometimes other carriers like FedEx or UPS are used. If your method of shipping is eligible for a tracking number, this will be emailed to you.
