Each is in its original form and retains the sensitive, expressive character that earned Chopin the title 'Poet of the Piano.' Derived from 'Chopin-An Introduction to His Piano Works,' this edition is intended for students in the early grades. Willard Palmer has provided notes on ornamentation, pedaling, and fingering. Valery Lloyd-Watts has beautifully recorded all the pieces in the book, included on Compact Disc.
Valery Lloyd-Watts studied at the Conservatory of Music in Toronto and the Royal College of Music in London. She earned a Master of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she studied with Paul Badura-Skoda.
