Ludwig van Beethoven's “Tempest” sonata was supposedly inspired by the Shakespeare play. An appropriately stormy first movement, a serene and poetic Adagio, and a catchy dancelike finale make this one of the most memorable works of Beethoven's middle/heroic period. This edition is edited and recorded by Beethoven scholar and concert pianist Robert Taub.
Audio is accessed online using the unique code inside the book and can be streamed or downloaded. The audio files include PLAYBACK+, a multi-functional audio player that allows you to slow down audio without changing pitch, set loop points, change keys, and pan left or right.
