Our rental program was developed in collaboration with string teachers to ensure that beginners and progressing students have access to excellent playing instruments at affordable rates. 

Professional players and teachers from all parts of Canada frequent our shop and trust us to meet their exacting requirements, as well as that of their students. Every instrument, regardless of price, receives maximum attention since we recognize that a proper instrument will help students realize their musical potential. 

The Instruments:

Remenyi House of Music is a professional violin shop with over a century of experience. We select our instruments from established manufacturers around the world who use traditional methods and materials. Many of our student level instruments are specially produced to meet our exact specifications and to ensure consistency, correct measurements and proper seasoning of wood. 

Each instrument goes through strict quality control inspection upon arrival and is placed into the hands of our experienced violin makers for a 14-point setup and adjustment process in order to make each  instrument sound and play its best.

Rental Plans and Benefits:

We rent: Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Basses

Minimum Rental Period: 3 months

Payment Billing Period: 3 months OR 1 year

Requirements: Driver's Licence (or equivalent) and credit card

Trade up: If a child outgrows a rented instrument, exchange for the next size is free. This can be done at any point during the contract. 

Should you wish to purchase an instrument after renting, your first 12 months of rental payments will be applied in full. 

*A $50 insurance deductible applies on violins and violas, and $100 on cellos.
