"It had long been my dream and my intention to purchase a grand piano for my retirement. I had a Yamaha upright grand during my student days and I wanted my grand to be a Yamaha as well. I used to frequent the Remenyi House of Music when it was located downtown Toronto across from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I knew Remenyi had annual sales and when I saw one advertised exclusively for Yamaha pianos, I immediately visited their Oakville showroom. It was a busy afternoon and I purchased a grand based on the price range I had budgeted for. However, Boris Hrovat, the manager there, had shown me another grand with a superior tone. I realized after a few weeks that I couldn’t stop thinking about that particular instrument and called back to inquire about possibly upgrading to the C2X series chrome edition grand piano. Boris invited me to come to the showroom to try this piano out. I started playing and quickly realized that this was the one I wanted. From that moment on Boris did everything in his power to secure me one, despite its limited availability. He did so with the highest level of customer service and we initiated an email correspondence that was courteous, professional and also quite delightful. The entire experience was one that gave me great pleasure in addition to my now having an instrument with beautiful tone, exceptional clarity of sound, an incredible dynamic range, and responsive to every touch. 100% total satisfaction where this customer is concerned!"
