FAZIOLI

In 1981, pianist and respected mechanical engineer Paolo Fazioli set out to make his dream of creating the finest pianos ever produced, a reality. In the Northern Italian town of Sacile, (60 km. Northeast of Venice) in an area boasting of an ancient and prestigious tradition in the art of instrument making, he gathered around him a team of top experts: physicists, acousticians; wood specialists; highly skilled piano builders and piano technicians who work with a relentless passion for music and great pianos. High level craftsmanship, continuous technological research and strict material selection, they build approximately one hundred grand and concert pianos each year for the world’s most demanding and discerning pianists. FAZIOLI rejects the common industrial approach to manufacturing pianos, in order to attain their objective of uncompromised quality.

The heart of each Fazioli – the soundboard – is taken from the same trees in northern Italy's 'Val di Fiemme' forest where Antonio Stradivari once selected his wood for his famous violins. The F308 model is the world's largest piano in production at staggering length of 10 feet and 2 inches. All six sizes have the option of being ordered with a fourth pedal patented by Fazioli Pianoforti, which allows the pianist to soften the sound without changing the voice or timbre.

Today’s Fazioli pianos feature many innovations – the sum of which has caused the pianos to be hailed as the absolute 'pinnacle' of the piano world. This is why an ever increasing number of young artists choose to play the Fazioli piano above all others, in concert, recording studios and on the stages of international piano competitions around the globe.

FAZIOLI 156 BABY GRAND PIANO

This is the smallest of the Fazioli series. Despite its dimensions, this piano has a notably powerful and clear sound. This piano is suitable for situation in which a larger piano is not suitable and when the player does not wish to renounce to the sound and the action of a high-quality grand piano.

FAZIOLI 183 GRAND PIANO

A mellow, rich and brilliant sound suited for the entire piano repertoire. With a fine balance between the bass and treble this piano has a projecting tone, which exceeds its dimension.

FAZIOLI 212 GRAND PIANO

Considered across the world as a classic size for performing and teaching this piano is suitable also for medium concert halls. The excellent balance between the bass and treble and the wide dynamic range render this instrument particularly well suited for the recording studio.

FAZIOLI 228 CONCERT GRAND PIANO

Semi-concert grand piano. Very similar to the concert grand (F278) in its action and dynamic features; a deep and powerful bass makes this piano excellent for medium-size concert halls. Only slightly smaller than a full concert grand, its tonal richness makes it an ideal instrument for chamber music.

FAZIOLI 278 CONCERT GRAND PIANO

A standard concert grand piano size with magnificent transmitting power, extensive dynamic range and harmonic richness. A classic instrument for large concert halls and recording studios.

FAZIOLI 308 CONCERT GRAND PIANO

The F308 is the absolute crown jewel of Fazioli's Pianoforti. Our longest concert grand piano is designed for modern large-capacity concert halls. Its immense power and extraordinary harmonic richness derive from an increased string-length in the bass section. The F308 exhibits a fourth pedal, invented by Fazioli, which allows the artist to reduce volume without modifying timbre.
