The Yamaha Home Series brings the touch and resonance of a grand piano into a space-efficient size. The GB1K and GC models suit living rooms and smaller spaces while retaining the responsive action and tonal range of a true grand. BUILD AND CONSTRUCTION
A grand piano is assembled from thousands of components, including the rim, strings, and action, into a single precision instrument. Remenyi prepares each GB1K and GC Series instrument fully before delivery.
MATERIALS
The GB1K and GC Series use premium spruce soundboards selected for resonance. The GC models add duplex scaling, a feature that enhances harmonics and overtones in the treble register, and are supported by Yamaha's custom-cast iron plates for structural integrity and tuning stability.
CRAFTMANSHIP
