Music Uncovered: Exploring New Choral Releases
Led by conductor Mitchell Pady and joined by Chroma Vocal Ensemble, the choir will act as section leaders as attendees sing through exciting new choral repertoire released in 2023 and 2024.

About Mitchell Pady
Mitchell Pady studied voice and composition at Western University and has had the great fortune to work with many visionary choral conductors, including Sir David Willcocks, Derek Holman, Robert Cooper, Helmuth Rilling, and Paul Hillier.
In addition to Chroma Vocal Ensemble, Mitchell is the artistic director of The Cellar Singers, Oriana Women’s Choir, and the project based ensemble Acquired Taste. Mitchell has also served as guest conductor for the Elmer Iseler Singers. Mitchell is a member of the faculty of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the Interprovincial Music Camp, and is a regular guest coach with the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Dora and Juno award winner, Mitchell sings professionally with the Elmer Iseler Singers under Lydia Adams, and Choir 21 with David Fallis, as well as being featured as a pops soloist under the baton of the late Howard Cable. Mitchell has recorded for Naxos, Perimeter Records, Centrediscs and Chandos.
Members of Chroma Vocal Ensemble will act as section leaders during the session, helping to lead the way as we sing through exciting new repertoire!
About Chroma Vocal Ensemble
Chroma Vocal Ensemble was created in 2022 by a group of musicians who share a passion for creating uplifting and exquisite choral music. Chroma aspires to evoke the intensity of infinite colour that its name represents. This exciting new Canadian choral ensemble draws from many different communities within the Greater Toronto Area, sharing a collective purpose through their love of singing.
