This guitar one of my personal favourites in the store. 

The New Gretsch Double Jet BT G5222 Electromatic in Natural Aged Maple finish.

This guitar reminds me of and pays homage to AC DC's Malcolm Young’s famously battle-hardened Gretsch Jet. Nicknamed “The Beast”.

The Jet BT is a chambered mahogany body with a beautifully finished aged natural maple top that looks amazing and produces a rich, present mid-range that accentuates big lows and shimmering highs.  

It features a pair of Black Top Broad'Tron pickups that have a higher output than the standard Filter'Tron pickups. They give you more drive and a thick, aggressive overdriven sound while maintaining that famous chime and astounding definition and note balance of the Filter'Tron pickups.

It sounds incredible both distorted and clean, while most other guitars will sound good in only one category. This guitar is one of the few that you can have the best of both worlds.

The Jet BT is equipped with electronics that give you complete tonal control. The combination of individual pickup volume controls, master tone and master volume with treble bleed circuit provide intuitive global control over your pickup and tone settings for maximum versatility.

This guitar can cover a wide range of sounds suitable for almost any style of music.

Playability wise, it has a lower set mahogany neck for effortless access and performance. It has a 12”-radius laurel wood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic inlays. It also features an Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge with a V-Stoptail and a black pickguard and chrome hardware.

This guitar sounds and plays as beautifully as it looks.
