The 21U New Nylgut Baritone Ukulele String Set from Aquila is intended for tuning in the key of D. The set utilizes New Nylgut, a synthetic material that provides high-quality tone often associated with gut strings, but without any of the typical defects. This new synthetic material offers a better sound than standard nylon or PVDF with notable stability of intonation under moisture changes. The low D and G strings use a high-quality silver-plated copper outer wrap wire over a New Nylgut multifilament core that ensures not only high resistance to tensile stress, but also a low absorption of both atmospheric humidity and sweat. The set is tuned: D, G, B, and E.
